  • The district pays 100% of the cost of Primary Benefits for all eligible employees
    The district pays 100% of the cost of Primary Benefits for all eligible employees.
    Additional benefits may be purchased on a voluntary basis:
    • Supplemental Accident, Cancer, Intensive care, Hospitalization (pre-tax)
    • Tax-deferred investment plans (pre-tax)
    • Pre-paid Legal plan
    • Other Benefits
    • Retirement
  • Member of the Arizona State Retirement System
    Employees who are hired on a 0.5 contract or more will be enrolled in the plan, with the district matching all contributions. All employees participate in OASI (Social Security/Medicare).
  • Vacation
    Administrators and contract support staff who work year round earn vacation time
  • Workers Compensation
    The FUSD workers compensation program provides benefits to employees who are injured on the job, including payment of medical services and lost income.
Employee must work a minimum of 30 hours per week to be classified as full time and be eligible for benefits.
